Bike Hub Network Expanding

Helping more people get on, or back on, bikes is what community bike hubs are all about. EcoMatters opened the doors to its ninth location, this one in Forrest Hill on the North Shore, in mid-September. It joins another 12 hubs open right across Tāmaki Makaurau, operated by community groups, thanks to support from Auckland Transport. Bike hubs offer free help with maintenance and basic repairs, and fix donated bikes, safety check them, then sell them on so more people can enjoy the benefits of cycling.
